This week has been pretty good for knitting progress. I was in training on Monday and Tuesday and I have meetings today and tomorrow. The trainers had no problem with me knitting and came over and asked about it. I finished the sleeves for Ronnie from Jeager (scroll down) which I am doing in the shown colorway and cast on for the back. Yesterday, I went and hung out with the irregulars for late night until I had to head off to a parade planning meeting (Guinness involved so that ended the knitting for the day. While at Knit Happens I finished the body of the bag for Via diagonale and now I just have to do the handles and then figure out how to line it. (I didn't learn how to sew either although I think it might have been Mom who tried to teach me, Sarah). The all day meetings are not as easy to knit in but if I am discrete no one says anything. However keeping the knitting below the table and actively participating in conversation does make for a leisurely knitting pace.
All of this knitting cotton has made my hands a little sore so I turned to Revenna for this evening since I didn't have any other meetings for this first time all week. I absolutely love it although I am not sure what I will do with it when it is done. It seems to nice to use as a rug. Here is a closer shot. I love the colors and the Lopi is much easier on the hands than the cotton I have been using all week.
Well, enough talking about knitting and back to actually knitting. I will figure out a way to get more pictures this weekend and tackle my fear that keeps me from taking in the computer.
