So I am minding my own business, knitting along on so cks and sweaters
and pink squares, when I look over at my calendar and realize that I have 3 (yes, three) babies to knit for by the end of the month. I have a baby shower on the 23rd and the 30th and an out of state baby due this month. What are these mothers thinking -- couldn't they have given me like 6 months notice or something? (what's that you say? they did? oh, I have just been procrastinating? oh).
Where is that Aran weight superwash I bought for just such an occasion. Hmm, need an Aran weight pattern...(hey, what is that in the side bar? Is there an unfinished baby sweater over there? Oh, maybe just some seaming and some embellishments, these snakes are cute and might add something to this plain Debbie Bliss boat-neck from Baby Knits).
OK, that is one... Hey, this is pretty cute and looks like it will knit up fast...

Anyone know of a quick, cute baby sweater pattern? I have some more Aran weight yarn or I could probably find some other superwash yarn in the stash or somewhere. All ideas are appreciated.
