My Secret Pal, Michelle, got a little behind in the exchange which is completely understandable from the mother of a small child. So I just got my final package!! Considering the past couple of weeks, the timing was great for a pick me up. She had Carolyn Dean, of JIL Creations at The Flying Ewe, spin me some super cool yarn. It is blue and green and there are 61 yards with crystal beads spun in and another 111 yards of single ply.
Vicki has tempted me by leading me to Jane Thornley's site and I may have to play around with this multi fiber knitting and I think this yarn could be a beautiful compliment. Maybe I will search in my stash for some matching colors. Here is a close up of the beaded yarn (although I seem to be photographically challenged today).
There is also some moisturizing lotion in a scent called "Spring Green". How could she resist for the knitter at 40 shades of green?
log cabin update (for those of you keeping track at home): 17 completed/55 to go -- expect a full update when I reach 20 squares.

If that Spring Green Vitabath is the stuff I am thinking of, lucky you...it is YUMMY. Really herbal, right?

Oh, I can definitely see that yarn in a Jane Thornley project! I am getting anxious to get back to mine!
